Lego made a Game Boy which looks real. Natalie the Nerd used press photos to measure its screen
opening, designed a custom board around a Game Boy Pocket CPU, and made it real.

This is the best kind of hardware hacking: the joke is obvious, the execution is unreasonable, and
the finished object looks like it should always have worked.
